It's pretty basic really...

1. Don't be a turd.

2. Respect the free speech of others.

3. While your free speech is also to be respected, don't be a turd.  That means keep your comments on other peoples posts polite and civilized, like the adults we all are.

4. Don't share knowledge about this page, it's contents or it's members with anyone who is not already a member or does not belong here.

4a. (Who does not belong here) Turds and people who act like turds.  Those who do not believe in free speech and open and civilized discussion. Those who wish to "cancel" those that they disagree with.

5. When inviting a new person to be a member, please remember that it is your responsibility to vet them so as to have 100% confidence that they will be a good fit here. We do encourage new members as the more the merrier.

6. The admins of this website have the right to suspend or boot you if you are being a turd.

7. Have fun and contribute as much as you can to the various elements of this website, including writing your own personal blogs and essays, joining in on forums and group chats and posting regularly those things you are interested in or capture your attention or that you think other member would enjoy seeing or knowing about.

8. If at all possible, stay positive.  If anything, hopefully this community will continue to grow and foster mutual support for each of it's members.

9. All users and user content is subject to local and national laws.

10. All users are solely responsible for content that they post and share.

11. Users are not allowed to post illegal materials, defame or liable others, use speech intended to incite violence or criminal activity of any kind.

12. The use of this platform to engage in any form of illegal activity is strictly forbidden.

13. Each user is responsible for protecting their own personal information in choosing what they wish to make public and/or share throughout this platform. It is highly recommended that users use strong passwords and never share their passwords with anyone, including admins/moderators/owners or other users of this platform.

14. As a user of this platform, you agree to hold all owners/admins and moderators of this platform free of all liability regarding any and all issues arising from your use of this platform. We work hard to provide the best Products we can and to specify clear guidelines for everyone who uses them. Our Products, however, are provided "as is," and we make no guarantees that they always will be safe, secure, or error-free, or that they will function without disruptions, delays, or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or any content they share (including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, and other objectionable content).

We cannot predict when issues might arise with our Products. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and under no circumstance will we be liable to you for any lost profits, revenues, information, or data, or consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the greater of $10 or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months.

15. Users are aware that this platform is powered by groupanic.com and that groupanic.com has it's own terms and privacy policies as they relate to all of their user platforms such as this one.  Groupanic.com is a website registered, according to whoisit, to CloudFlare Inc.

16. Among other terms, groupanic.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user platform, such as this one, at anytime. It is therefore recommended that all users keep a backup of any and all valuable content uploaded to their pages including blog posts, essays, photos, videos, external links etc.

17. The admins/owners/moderators of this platform will keep a list of user emails used to register to this platform for the sole purpose of contacting users in the event that the platform be suspended or terminated by groupanic.com or to communicate changes in the terms and policies of this platform, or the platform itself, that are necessary for each user to be aware of.

18. The terms and policies as set forth here are subject to change at any time and at the discretion of the admins/owners/moderators of this platform.  It is the users responsibility to stay informed on any and all changes by reviewing them periodically at the bottom of the website.   Admins/moderators will make any changes publicly known via the Newsfeed. Email correspondence may be sent to email addressees associated to user accounts to inform users of changes to terms and policies as well as other changes that may effect the platform such as new features or changes to usability.  It is however, the users responsibility to stay informed on such changes by regularly visiting the the terms and policies page or viewing the admin profile for public announcements.
